The Ark Production
The off-campus neighborhood of Syracuse University hosts one of the longest-running DIY cultural scenes in the nation, a fact held to high regard by the local and touring veterans of this underground in the past century. While largely undocumented until the start of The Ark’s archival catalogue in September 2018, supporting university staff recall stories of student- run house & attic concerts dating back to the late 1800’s, after the construction of the off-campus neighborhood.
